dingoes can naturally get larger than their south asian relatives, and most feral/pariah dogs, with 45 - 55 lbs being fairly average in many parts of australia, vs 30 lbs being a pretty standard max around the world for established feral dogs and wild dog relatives of the dingo. In the past in australia anything over 30 lbs (14 odd kgs) was considered to probably be a feral hybrid and was again happily killed with no remorse.
Basically dingoes have been getting killed fairly indiscriminately since europeans arrived in australia. I think a lot of "feral dogs" are more dingo than the graziers (not me, other ones) would like to admit.
However, in australia there are also some feral dogs which are very clearly not dingoes.
